Why are you running from God?
He's not the enemy, I promise.
What's that? You're not ready? Tell me, hun, not ready for what?
Not ready to be saved from an eternity of torture today, because tomorrow is not promised?
You think that life in the world, enjoying sin for a season, is better than slowing down and getting to know God?
How else would you know that He is the most loyal friend you in your wildest dreams, wish you had. Or that He meets every need but does it in such an amazingly loving way, you almost can't believe how lucky you are to know Him.
Truth is, the fun of sin is just for a while before the drama unfolds.
Before the hurt and disappointment from disloyal people jades you. Before the struggles from dysfunctional romantic entanglements wound you.
Guess what, when God pulls you from the world, it's to protect you. This is what any loving father would do, who sees danger ahead.
Don't miss out on the real good life because of a misconception you have about who God is and what He want's from you. He just wants you to be loved the way He believes you deserve to be loved.
If you think those dramatic worldly situations made you miserable...
Well, eternity is a much much longer time to be absolutely wretched.
